Our Bottle Woes

These pictures are very deceptive. One would think that Liam loves his bottle and has been a cheerful, happy boy today. Anything but! Liam was a champ for the first 5 months at taking a bottle when I wasn't around. However, people have been reporting to us that when they've babysat, Liam hasn't been taking the bottle. A few days ago I decided to get him back on the bottle, so it was all bottle, all day. After trying several different nipples, he seemed to find one he liked and like he was on the right track. Today, I thought it would be a good idea to give him a bottle to reinforce the idea. Liam apparently forgot everything he learned and it was back to square one. He has not been a happy baby today. We've tried the bottle, sippy cups, and even drinking out of a regular cup. Anyone have some good ideas on how to get him to take the bottle again?

Crazy Looking Boy

This is what Liam looked like about 10 days ago. Poor boy got a rash all over his face, then it later appeared on his arms and legs. He also had a low grade fever at times. Thankfully, it went away! We still aren't 100% sure what caused it, but my best guess is that I started eating lots of kiwi that week. When I stopped, it went away.

Surprise, Surprise!

A little while ago, Andy and I were surprised to find that we are having another baby! We weren't planning on expanding the family quite so soon, but God had another, better plan! So, ultimately, we are very excited for this blessing of another baby (although I did go through the emotions of not feeling "ready" to be pregnant again:).

At this point in time, we don't know when the baby is due. We have our first ultrasound on May 5th to give the due date. So, we thought it would be fun to take a poll... how old do you think the baby will be on May 5th?

Look-alike Meter

MyHeritage: Look-alike Meter - Geneology - Family photos

Thanks Chuns! This was a fun idea, but I don't know if it got us right?! I have always thought Liam looks much more like Andy than I.

House Update

Things are moving forward with the house. The owner's lender agreed to take less than they are owed so they don't have to deal with foreclosing on the house. On Thursday, we have our housing inspection. The owner has already said that if anything is wrong with the house, they don't have the money to fix it. The house is only 3 years old, so hopefully, it should be fine. Thanks for praying and we'll update as we know more!
