Asher

Backyard Fun

Liam got these shoes from a friend recently. He also is now used to his hat. Every morning, he wakes up, wants his pj's off and the shoes and hat on. Quite stylish.

More Summer Blooms

Hat Drama

We're trying to get Liam to like wearing a hat so he will wear it in the sun. He wasn't going for it...

Trying to show him that's it's not so bad...

Droopy Drawers

When we went to the pool one day, the hostess gave Liam some KoolAid, which he LOVED! He drank a ton. After we got home and he got up from his nap, his diaper was so heavy because of all that he had drank.

Haircuts All Around

I gave both Andy and Liam their summer buzz haircuts between dips in our mini pool. Couple of cute men!

Corrupting the Neighbors

We had some neighbor kids over today and yesterday. One of the parents noticed that Liam's mohawk is gone and though their kid should get one.

Here he's thinking, what did she do to me?

Photo Shoot with Dad

Liam figured out that the camera can take a picture with a time delay. He wanted Andy to keep setting it up, then he'd run over, cuddle with Andy, and smile. It produced some cute pictures.

Asher's Check Up

We went to the pediatrician today for Asher's 6 month check up. He is 17 lb 3 oz and 27 1/4 inches. The way he is growing he won't be a light weight like his brother. Asher is so laid back that he verges on sedentary, which helps pack on the pounds too I guess.

Good news about his nerve problem (the Horner's syndrome). The pediatrician doesn't think that he has it because he only has 1 out of the 4 signs (unequal pupils, droopy eye, no sweat and no flushing on that side of his face). So, that is good news! Thanks for praying!

Asher

Asher has taken to eating a bit better, as you can see from knawing on the watermelon. We found out this week that he has a problem with one of his cranial nerves, which we discovered because his pupils aren't the same size when the light is dim. You can see it if you look closely at some of the pictures. He saw a neurologic opthamoligist this week and will again in 2 weeks. He'll probably have some tests to see what is causing the nerve problem. He doesn't seem to be bothered by it or by his kidney problem, and we're thankful for that. We'd appreciate your continued prayers for his healing!
