Belly Buttons and Projectile Poop

We were all smiles before the projectile poop incident.

Well, it has been a big day for little Liam. His umbilical cord finally fell off and he has a cute, inny belly button. Another item worthy of note-he can poop with amazing force. Andy was changing him and cleaning his tush when Liam surprised us with some mustard splattered not only over his changing pad, but over the bed on which it lays, the carpet, and the wall about 3 feet away. Andy also got a bit of the love on his shorts. Somehow, no one mentioned that this happens with babies. It took us by surprise!

"Playing" with Liam

Roland and Liam... watch out LaNae, he's going to want another one!
(Kailyn, Cade, and Claire-hopefully you can hold him soon too!)

Te he...! Yup! Projectile poop will probably be a well-known friend of yours over the next few months. Also, beware of sudden showers! Pee can make it a good five feet across the room too (or even into his mouth :0(
I always placed a small washcloth over that part while changing him as I got sick of having to change his clothes all the time. Arianna, you look ridiculously good for having just had a baby!

Just wait!! :)
You guys look amazing! Hopefully once Matt returns from India we can come visit and meet the little mister (and bring you a dinner or two!).

Love to all three of you!

Brianne-

We'd love to see you guys and introduce you to Liam! We'll have to make it happen.

Hi Arianna, if you didn't know that babys tend to poop and pee while you are changing them then I would seriously read up more on children and parenting. Also do not work in the NICU.
To most people this is very common knowledge. So good luck if you just assumed you knew everything about having babies. Also, it's spelled Nawnie. Phonetically the other just does not make sense. Tobin genes are definately predominate, Liam looks just like Sean!
Also after a belly button falls off and it seems to be an innie that doesn't mean it is necessarily so. As Liam grows and changes so will his belly button. When Sawyer is full and fat I could swear it's an outie.
