As we've been in California (otherwise known as the land of perpetual sun) these past few years, we've often missed the four seasons that we got to enjoy in Spokane and Portland. But as we look forward with excitement to moving to Rockford, Illinois, we realize that we'll probably look back during the frigid winters of the Midwest on these sunny days and long for them too. Ahh, how the battle for contentment never ends (at least in this life :)

Oh so true!!! I have been enjoying our beautiful fall days here in Spokane (definitely not in the 80's though) up until today when we awoke to rainfall. The change in seasons does make you appreciate each one of them! When are you looking to move to IL?

We're moving in February to Illinois to work with the Dirkses! Yay! Looking forward to it (and the four seasons too!)
What a pretty day! Liam looks TINY in that stroller. Not for long though - it goes SO FAST!!
