So the boys were playing up in Liam's room for a few minutes... and this is how I found them. Somehow, they managed to get off Asher's sleeper and made an attempt at getting off his onsie too!

Asher's Update

I took Asher in for his post op follow up appointment after his pyeloplasty. They put some dye into his kidney through the tube going into it, in hopes that the dye would go down the normal route to his diaper. His diaper didn't turn blue, which means the dye didn't get through. The doctors are still not too concerned, although I didn't understand quite why. They have been quick to express concern at other times though, so I'm hoping they are right this time in not being worried. They took his tube out of his back, so for the first time in 2 months, he doesn't have any weird tubes hanging out of his body! Yay for that! You can pray with us that the surgery will work in restoring function to the kidney and that his ureter would stay open so the urine can pass down to his bladder. He has a test in 2 months that will test us if the surgery is working. I am excited that he can finally have a real bath again!

Asher was supposed to be in the hospital for his birthday, but his surgery was canceled, so we threw together a quick celebration with the Dirkse's. I made a quick cake and couldn't understand why the writing icing was running....

Oh, it was because I used food coloring instead of the colored icing to write with! Whoops!

Well, it will probably be a little while before I am blogging again. My computer is officially dead so most of my internet access is off my I Pod Touch, which I can't post pictures off of. We are looking into getting another computer for me, so until then, there won't be much posting.
