Asher is 1!!!
Asher was supposed to be in the hospital for his birthday, but his surgery was canceled, so we threw together a quick celebration with the Dirkse's. I made a quick cake and couldn't understand why the writing icing was running....
Oh, it was because I used food coloring instead of the colored icing to write with! Whoops!

Asher is sooo adorable. I cannot believe he is a year old already - has it really been that long since we've seen you guys - you were pregnant with him!
