We recently got a purple leather couch from Andy's grandma after she passed away. We were thankful for it, but not sure how to make it go with the rest of our furnishings, because well, we don't have a lot of purple leather. But I have got to tell you, man, if you ever have a chance for leather with kids, no matter the color, go for it. Liam has spit up all over this thing and all I have to do is wipe it down with a wet cloth. I love it, even in all it's purpleness.

It is so fun to see pics of Liam - the ones of him and Andy are so sweet. John and I had a sofa given to us when we first moved to CA. It was not really our style - it had a pink and purple large floral print and tassels - but it was a big wrap around and could hold a lot of people at bible study! Like you, we were so thankful for it in all it's foofyness.
It looks as though Liam's swing is yet a helpful babysitter and your purple sofa not only looks great, but is wonderfully babyproof (I've always loved our black one) AND of course, Liam is still the cutest centerpiece ever!
